Carmel dominates Indiana 2A final

It's back to a familiar place for the girls' soccer team at Carmel (Carmel, Ind.).

The Greyhounds defeated Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, Ind.), 1-0, in a Class 2A state final match where Carmel outshot its opponent 20-4. The win marked Carmel's ninth state title, but its first since 2004. The Greyhounds are No. 2 in the latest POWERADE FAB 50 and could move to No. 1 if top-ranked Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) fails to win its conference title.
