Cathedral, which will play Warren Central in a nationally-televised game on ESPN this weekend, had a 4th-and-goal from the 1-yard line, but Irish RB Gino Gillum was stopped as Ben Davis held on to beat Cathedral, 23-20.
Pike had been No. 3 in the preseason rankings, but dropped to No. 10 with the loss. Cathedral slipped from No. 5 to No. 8.
