In this week's edition of All-State Stock Watch, we're looking at Indiana football players who saw their potential value rise or fall over the past week. A player could have had a huge game, gotten a big-time scholarship offer, or broken a leg. Whatever the case, I chart all the data (in my head) and give you the biggest movers of the week.

STOCK WATCH

UP — Jalen Duncan, Carmel RB
Carmel has been stomping the competition through the first four weeks of the season, and the Greyhounds' running game looks like one of the state's best. Duncan has emerged as the primary weapon in the backfield and he was terrific on Friday, rushing for 149 yards on 16 carries and adding a pair of touchdowns. Look for Carmel to lean on Duncan more and more as the season goes on, so buy stock in Duncan now because it's going UP.

DOWN — Gehrig Dieter, SB Washington WR
Dieter has been one of the biggest stories of the season, first setting a state record for single-game receiving yards, then topping the national record with 437 yards in Week 3. His performance on Friday was considerably less spectacular, as Dieter caught one pass for 52 yards in the first quarter before leaving the game with an undisclosed injury. Once he's healthy, his stock will shoot through the roof again, but it's a DOWN grade for now.

UP — Logan Haston, Avon QB
Four weeks into a tough schedule, Avon sits at 3-1, and the Orioles should continue to get better behind Haston. The senior has really taken ownership of the offense, and on Friday he provided a big spark by passing for 276 yards and throwing three touchdown strikes in a win over Fishers. Haston has Avon at No. 9 in the POWERADE state rankings, and his individual stock should continue to go UP as well.
