ESPN High School: What other school’s did you consider?
Taylor Bresnahan: “I looked at other schools, like Penn State, Vanderbilt, UConn, and Duke, but I loved Florida.”
EHS: What made Florida such an attractive choice?
TB: “Florida has so much to offer. The athletics are great and the academics are amazing. I knew that if I were to go there, I would be taken care of and that I would be able to do a lot.”
EHS: What surprised you about the recruiting process?
TB: “The recruiting process went so fast.”
EHS: What was the most important question you asked college coaches during the process?
TB: “I really wanted to know if I would play or not. So, the most important question for me to ask was "where do you see me on the team; do you see me playing?"
EHS: What one piece of advice would you give to other players who are just starting on the recruiting process?
TB: “For the people just starting the recruiting process, I would make sure that you narrow a list down to your top three or four schools. It makes it a lot easier and less stressful and it helps know where you want to visit.”
EHS: Is there anything about the recruiting process that you think could change that would have made it easier or less stressful for you?
TB: “To be honest, I knew where I wanted to go every since I was in 8th grade. Florida has always been my number 1 choice, so when I got the chance to visit and go there I took it awfully quick. I was so excited through my recruiting process about Florida that I never really got stressed out.”
