Paul VI (Fairfax, Va.) junior Will Biagi has given Michigan a verbal commitment to play men’s lacrosse.
Biagi is a faceoff midfielder for Paul VI and won 200 of his 350 (57 percent) of his faceoffs last season.
ESPNHS: What other school’s did you consider?
Will Biagi: “Villanova, Towson and Robert Morris.”
ESPNHS: What made Michigan such an attractive choice?
WB: “It has everything I was looking for academically and I wanted to be part of something special.”
ESPNHS: What surprised you about the recruiting process?
WB: “The fact the one tournament can make or break your future.”
ESPNHS: What was the most important question you asked college coaches during the process?
WB: “How many people they were recruiting for my position.”
ESPNHS: What one piece of advice would you give to other players who are just starting on the recruiting process?
WB: “That it’s never too late to start, coaches are always looking for players.”
ESPNHS: Is there anything about the recruiting process that you think could change that would have made it easier or less stressful for you?
WB: “If coaches were able to contact you more easily.”
