Kennett (Pa.) junior chooses Michigan

Sophie duPhily, a junior at Kennett (Kennett Square, Pa.), has made a verbal commitment to play women's lacrosse at the University of Michigan beginning with the 2013-14 school year.

A midfield/attack player for Kennett and the Phantastix Lacrosse Club (Berwyn, Pa.), duPhily was the third leading assist-maker in Pennsylvania during the 2010 season.

A three-sport varsity athlete during all three years at Kennett High, duPhily is vice president of her Junior Class and is also a member of the National Honor Society.
