Landon (Md.) junior chooses Virginia

Michael Rhoads, a junior at Landon (Bethesda, Md.), has verbally committed to play men's lacrosse for Virginia.

Rhoads plays close defense as well as LSM for the Bears and helped the team to the IAC championship game last season.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound junior plays club lacrosse for the Baltimore Crabs 2013 and made the Maryland Free State team last Spring.
