Alexander Hurdle, a sophomore defender at McDonogh (Owings Mills, Md.), has verbally committed to play men's lacrosse for Notre Dame.
The 5-foot-11, 190-pound sophomore plays club lacrosse with Roughrider Elite Team and the Maryland Crabs 2014 Team.
Hurdle participated in the Brine Shootout, the North Carolina Select Camp in 2011 and has accepted an invitation to Jake Reed's Blue Chip Camp this fall.
The defender also considered Army, Navy, Penn, Dartmouth, Yale, Princeton, High Point and Michigan.
