Despite dropping from Division 1 to Division 1A this season, Everett football should still be familiar with its spot in the rankings. After going undefeated and winning the Super Bowl last season, the Crimson Tide start this season at No. 1. Duxbury comes in at No. 2, and BC High opens at No. 3. Full rankings after the jump.

Preseason Football Rankings
  1. Everett -- Loaded on offense and defense
  2. Duxbury -- Reilly Naton is a playmaker on defense
  3. BC High -- Preston Cooper makes Eagles' offense dynamic
  4. Catholic Memorial -- Might be most talented team in state
  5. BB&N -- ISL favorites will be strong in trenches
  6. Brockton -- As usual, Boxers are big, talented
  7. Andover -- How far can Andy Coke take them?
  8. Xaverian -- Chris Calvanese is one of top QBs in Mass.
  9. St. John's (Shrewsbury) -- Passing attack should be strong again
  10. Auburn -- Glorious Rockets own state's longest winning streak (37 games)
