High-SchoolMassachusetts: Jaylen Brantley

Brantley lights it up at City of Palms

December, 23, 2011
Wilbraham & Monson basketball player Jaylen Brantley is building a serious reputation. The junior point guard brought his team to one of the most hyped tournaments in the country this week, the City of Palms Classic in Ft. Myers, Fla., and Brantley stood out even among the nation's elite players.

He showed his usual touch on outside shots, proved he could run the point, hit a game-winner and earned a spot on the ESPNHS All-Tournament Team.

Here's what ESPNHS basketball analyst Jason Jordan had to say about Brantley's performance at the City of Palms:
Jaylen Brantley, Willbraham Monson (Willbraham, Mass.), 2013, PG
Brantley was the most clutch player at the City of Palms, and even hit the game-winning shot that sent his team to the finals. He was crafty, got his teammates involved and picked his spots exceptionally well.
