Reigning D-2 state champ Harrison tops preseason football rankings

Following a perfect 14-0 record, a Division 2 state championship and a string of high-profile college commitments, it's little surprise that Harrison opens as our No. 1 team in Michigan to start the 2011 football season, not to mention as the nation's No. 19 team in the POWERADE FAB 50 ESPNHS Team Rankings.

That's not the only accolade the Hawks have garnered this season, though. The team's three senior stars (Aaron Burbridge, Devin Funchess and Mario Ojemudia) graced the cover of the September 2011 Michigan edition of ESPNHS.

Harrison may start the year at the top, but there's plenty of talent across the state that is sure to make a run at the No. 1 spot before it's all said and done.
