Rose gets UA white jersey; Demos waiting for offers

Believe it or not, Michael Rose didn't score his first varsity touchdown until this past week during No. 1 Rockhurst's 35-6 win against Rock Bridge. The senior ran it in from the fullback position, but it's no secret that Rose has yielded his greatest results at linebacker.

Coincidentally, the Nebraska commit celebrated his first score Thursday by receiving his white jersey for the Under Armour All-America Game, which will be played on Jan. 5 in St. Petersburg, Fla., and televised on ESPN. For more on Rose, read this insightful feature by ESPNU's Damon Sayles.

Meanwhile, a Missouri-based player who has scored plenty of touchdowns this season is still waiting for a college to offer him a jersey. Despite throwing for 1,274 yards, 13 touchdowns and just four interceptions for second-ranked CBC, Dalton Demos has yet to receive a scholarship offer. Check out this story from Sayles, detailing the "frustrating" process for the forever-persevering Demos.
