The No. 2 team wasn't so fortunate, as Aquinas Institute fell for the first time this season. The Little Irish's offense was outdone by Cathedral Prep (Pa.) kicker John Cheseron, who booted three field goals in a 16-13 win. Cheseron connected on a 52-yard field goal and a 46-yarder, which are now the two longest in school history.
St. Joe's Collegiate also lost to an out-of-state squad, falling to 8-0 Steubenville from Ohio, while Iona Prep went down for the second time this season. The Gaels fell 23-19 to a surging Chaminade squad, whose gained momentum behind three field goals by running back/kicker Matthew Graham.
Lincoln benefited the most from the wild weekend, as the Railsplitters made their debut in the top 10 after downing Grand Street Campus 42-12. Through six games, Lincoln has outscored its opponents by a whopping margin of 272-24.
