La Salle lost several pieces from last year's championship team, but the squad is off to a fast start and again has the look of a title-contending squad. The Lancers are getting after it on the defensive end, limiting foes to less than 40 points a contest. Their hot start lands the team in the top 5 of this week's rankings. Northland remains at No. 1, while Dunbar leaps two teams to take the No. 2 slot. Mentor makes its debut at No. 10 after starting off the season on a tear, dropping Saint Vincent-St. Mary out of the rankings. We think you're going to hear more from the Irish who have started slow the last few seasons before making a late charge.

Here's a look at the top three teams:
1. Northland (4-1) — Last week No. 1
2. Dunbar (8-0) — Last Week No. 4
3. Moeller (7-1) — Last Week No. 3
