Kenton's Maty Mauk named Gatorade POY
By David Auguste
Kenton record-setting quarterback Maty Mauk was named Gatorade Ohio Football Player of the Year this morning.
Mauk, a senior, put up staggering offensive numbers throughout the fall and will guide the Wildcats' high-octane attack in this weekend's Division IV title game. Earlier in the season, the Missouri commit set national records for career touchdowns and career passing yards.
