Each week we'll take three intriguing matchups and put our knowledge to the test with some predictions. If you think your team's game is one of the best on the schedule, let us know in the comments or on Twitter @CParishESPNHS and we'll put it up for debate.

(Ranks are based on this week's state rankings)

Downingtown West (5-0) vs. West Chester Henderson (4-1)

The Whippets' defense has been an enigma so far this season. The team is undefeated, but in three of those wins the team has allowed just 14 total points. In the other two wins, the offense carried the way but the defense was suspect, giving up 58. Now they'll face a W.C. Henderson squad that has scored 40+ point in consecutive games since a Week 3 loss to Plymouth Whitemarsh. One stat of note: the Whippets hold a rushing edge of about 500 yards (or 100 yards per game) to this point in the season. The Warriors, by contrast, have thrown for only about 200 more yards. PREDICTION: Downingtown West 35, W.C. Henderson 24

Central Dauphin (4-1) vs. No. 7 Cumberland Valley (5-0)

Central Dauphin didn't take a Week 2 loss to Bishop McDevitt well. Since that loss, the Rams have scored 42, 42 and 49 points, giving up just 20 total points in that same span. Now CD faces off against a Cumberland Valley squad that has been among the state's most impressive this year. Big wins over McDevitt and Chambersburg have helped the Eagles stay perfect this season, and the team is led by a three-headed rushing attack of Aaron Hinish, Jeremy DiPietro and Cole Johnson. It'll be difficult for the Rams to slow down all three, but they're playing with an edge. PREDICTION: Central Dauphin 27, Cumberland Valley 24

Wyoming Valley West (5-0) vs. Dallas (5-0)

Wyoming Valley West's defense is nothing to write home about, but the offense has been tremendous. The team is averaging nearly 40 points per game and is led by senior Eugene Lewis, an ESPNHS All-State first-teamer who has committed to Penn State. But the Spartans face fellow unbeaten Dallas tonight, and the Mountaineers play with a similar offensive flair. Senior Paul Brace does a little bit of everything on offense and defense, and he'll need to in order to keep the Spartans at bay. PREDICTION: Wyoming Valley West 27, Dallas 20

Previous Record: 9-7
