After games ending Saturday, Oct. 15
The top teams all held steady this week, keeping the rankings intact. But it wasn't without some great finishes. Top-ranked Pittsburgh Central Catholic's two scores in the first quarter proved to be the difference in a tight 13-7 win over Gateway. Central Valley scored twice late against Hopewell in a back-and-forth game that was televised on ESPNU. And both Valley View and Abington won their contests by 14 points or less.
