Grade: Senior

Position: Running back

Height: 5-foot-11

Weight: 195 pounds

THE PILLARS: Gatorade criteria

Athletic achievement: Reid rushed for 1,705 yards and 17 touchdowns on 225 carries this past season, leading the Knights to a 9-1 season. He ran for more than 100 yards in every game and topped 200 yards three times.

Academic excellence: Reid has maintained a B average in the classroom.

Exemplary character: Reid has volunteered locally as a youth mentor.
