Height: 6-foot-6

THE PILLARS

Athletic achievement: Loveridge led the Jaguars to a 21-3 record and the Class 5A state semifinals this past season. He averaged 22.9 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. A three-time First Team All-State selection, Loveridge was also named Mr. Basketball by the Deseret News.

Academic excellence: Loveridge has maintained a 3.49 GPA in the classroom.

Exemplary character: He has volunteered locally on behalf of a basketball program for students with physical and intellectual challenges.

THE PRAISE

“Loveridge is very long, with a strong body, and he uses that length so well,” said Golden Holt, head coach at Orem (Utah). “He keeps getting better and better. His body has developed and he’s worked so hard that now there really isn’t a weakness in his game.”

THE FUTURE: Loveridge has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Utah this fall.
