Athletic achievement: Prince led the Fighting Eagles to a 28-4 record and the Class 6A state championship this past season. She averaged 19.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.6 steals, 3.1 blocks and 2.6 assists per game. A McDonald’s and Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-American selection, Prince shot 51.7 percent from the field, 37.9 percent from 3-point range and 72.6 percent from the free throw line. An invitee to the 2010 USA Basketball Women’s U17 World Championship Team trials, she helped her Essence Amateur Athletic Union squad to the semifinals at this past summer’s Nike Nationals.
