Got Game: Justin Twine

Name: Justin Twine

School: Hemphill

Sport: Football

Twine might have already posted the best game of his high school career, and he's only a sophomore. Though he lines up under center, the quarterback used his feet to impress last Friday by rushing for 534 yards and six touchdowns on 21 carries in Hemphill's 77-56 win against West Sabine.

Twine's output places him second in the state record book for most rushing yards in a game behind Daryl Ellis, who had 587 yards for Somerville in 1998.

Oh and for all those football purists out there, Twine also threw for 53 yards and a touchdown.
