Anyone who is really close to the Columbus North IN cross country program could have seen Futsum Zeinasellassie's 17:36 coming from a mile away.

The Indiana champion and 2010 Foot Locker runner-up has bumped his miles up a bit and nailed key workouts. But the one that gave him the most confidence came on a grueling hill at Clifty Falls State Park. The 3xhill workout told the emigrant from Eritrea that he was ready for a big year.

Zeinasellassie's older brother runs for Northern Arizona University, but Futsum said he is still wide open on his college choice and hasn't taken any visits yet.
