There are several intriguing contests going down in Greater D.C. this weekend, and we're going to do our best to predict the winners of five of the best matchups. Throw us some feedback in the comments section or tweet your picks to @ESPNHSAuguste. We'll try and highlight a few of the top comments in next week's edition. Here we go.

Oakton (6-0) at No. 9 Chantilly (5-1)
Oakton has had the edge in this matchup with three wins in the last four games. Chantilly creeps closer to evening things out after they win this one.
Pick: Chantilly, 35-24

C.H. Flowers (5-1) at No. 8 Eleanor Roosevelt (6-0)
Shawn Petty has been a beast finding the end zone. Expect more of the same this week.
Pick: Roosevelt, 42-31

DeMatha (3-2) at St. John’s (4-2)
Upset alert. We highlighted this game in the October mag because it will mark St. John’s QB Ben Onett’s first contest against his former teammates. The Stags’ defense will make it hard on him, but we can’t go against the Cadets, who have been playing inspired ball since dropping their first two games.
Pick: St. John’s, 24-14

McLean (4-2) No. 2 Centreville (6-0)
Centreville’s defense is too tough to score on. McLean will learn that the hard way.
Pick: Centreville, 42-14

Osbourn (5-2) at No. 10 Broad Run (5-1)
Derril Thomas has scored two or more times in each of the last four games. Look for him to continue that streak in a winnign effort.
Pick: Broad Run, 35-14
