The state championships are over and the Class of 2012 had a great run, but it’s never too early to start looking at the impressive players in the Class of 2013 and beyond. Who’s going to rule the gridiron in Greater D.C. next season? We give you the early rundown of who to watch for.

5. Dorian O' Daniel (JR), Good Counsel, RB/LB

Credentials: Rushed for 901 yards and 17 touchdowns as the team's No. 2 back, also a stellar pass-rusher on defense, All-WCAC pick

4. Jalen Tabor (SO), Friendship Collegiate, DB

Credentials: Picked off seven passes to announce his arrival on the scene this fall, already has more than 10 offers

3. Jonathan Allen (JR), Stone Bridge, DL

Credentials: Ferocious hitter has a knack for getting to the QB, 12 sacks in the 2011 regular season, 20 sacks in 2010

2. Kendall Fuller (JR), Good Counsel, DB

Credentials: All-WCAC first-teamer had 526 receiving yards and five receiving TDs, holds nearly 20 offers

1. E.J. Levenberry (JR), Hylton, LB

Credentials: Posted 125 tackles, five sacks and picked off three passes (two pick-six) for a defense that allowed 12 points a contest, more than 20 BCS offers
