State champs Bellevue, Skyline top final football rankings

If the top two teams in our final rankings look familiar, it's because they're the same two that topped our preseason rankings. Bellevue and Skyline continued their dominance of the competition in Class 3A and 4A, respectively, clinching state crowns this past weekend. Bellevue went undefeated this fall and finished the season No. 9 in the POWERADE FAB 50. Behind Gatorade State Player of the Year Max Browne, Skyline rebounded from three regular-season losses to clip Skyview in the finals. Also in the mix are 2A champ Lynden and 1A winner Connell.

Here's how the top three teams fared last week:

Bellevue — defeated O'Dea, 35-16 (final regular season ranking: No. 1)

Skyline —defeated Skyview, 38-7 (final regular season ranking: NR)

Skyview — lost to Skyline, 38-7 (final regular season ranking: NR)
