Lakes, Eastlake move up in Week 7 football rankings

There's a new top team in Class 4A play and it's undefeated Eastlake. The Wolves' 44-17 trouncing of Issaquah combined with Ferris' surprising 35-14 loss to Mead, catapults Eastlake to the top of the heap in 4A action. Ferris drops two spots to No. 5, while Bellevue remains No. 1 in the state and No. 16 in the POWERADE FAB 50. Lakes continues to throttle opponents and moves up to No. 2.

Here's how the top three teams fared last week:

Bellevue — defeated Sammamish, 61-7 (last week No. 1)

Lakes — defeated Enumclaw, 69-0 (last week No. 3)

Eastlake — defeated Issaquah, 44-17 (last week No. 4)
