Reading the coverage of the Houston Texans...
Ben Tate shared more detail about his injury with Kristie Rieken of The Associated Press. Tate said he has four broken ribs but expects to be OK after the Texans' bye week. Having released Cierre Wood, the Texans are in the market for another running back. It could be Ray Graham, who is on the practice squad.
Dave Zangaro of CSNHouston.com takes a look at the Texans' situation at inside linebacker having lost Brian Cushing. It's not even close to as bad as it was late last season, yet.
StateoftheTexans.com's Patrick D. Starr gives his analytical recap of the Texans' fifth consecutive loss. Not sure if this was meant to be funny, but I chuckled at the line: "The bye week has arrived and it will give a much needed break of the game of football to Texans fans everywhere."
You can thank Case Keenum for the Texans recovering their heartbeat, writes Randy Harvey of the Houston Chronicle. It's enough, Harvey says, that Keenum has earned another start.
