Reading the coverage of the Houston Texans...

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and Texans quarterback Case Keenum both were Texas high school quarterbacks before impressive college careers. But after college their paths diverged. In 2012, Luck was the first overall selection in the NFL draft, while Keenum found his way onto the Texans' practice squad, undrafted. The Houston Chronicle's Dale Robertson tells their tale.

Ben Tate believes he is like Wolverine, writes Dave Zangaro of CSNHouston.com. Texans coach Gary Kubiak is calling Tate an end-of-the-week decision, but Tate keeps saying he plans to play Sunday despite the cracked ribs he suffered against Kansas City.

This isn't a Texans story, but it's one you should read. Our Seth Wickersham does a wonderful job here telling the story of why Rolando McClain left the NFL. McClain could see his life heading down a rage-filled path he didn't like. This one has what the best stories do: a combination of great information and storytelling.
