Reading the coverage of the Houston Texans ...
Kristie Rieken of the Associated Press takes a look at the Texans' quarterback situation as they prepare to face one of the best to play the position in Peyton Manning. She notes that the Texans are looking at ways they can help Case Keenum play better.
Keenum has one touchdown and five interceptions in his last four games, writes Dave Zangaro of CSNHouston.com. He includes this damning statistic: "Since 2011, here are the quarterbacks who have thrown at least 250 passes with a completion percentage under 55 percent: Tim Tebow, John Skelton, Christian Ponder, Blaine Gabbert, Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Andrew Luck, Chad Henne, Josh Freeman and Brandon Weeden and Keenum this year."
Marc Vandermeer, the voice of the Texans, writes this column for HoustonTexans.com, reiterating the idea that nothing changed. One of his points: "The defense wasn't exactly reminiscent of the '85 Bears but they did make some plays and had the offense been able to remotely hold serve, they would have looked a lot better."
