Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is on Day 9 of rejecting media requests -- he has so far this offseason only spoken at movie events and bowling alleys -- which means we can't ask him about how fluid he's looked on the field this offseason or the way he's taken to Bill O'Brien's offense.

But we can ask his teammates. Which is how Texans left tackle Duane Brown came to offer this assessment of his good friend:

"I know what kind of running back Arian is. He's a very special talent. He has a lot of tools that you can't coach. His elusiveness, his vision, his ability to catch out of the backfield. When he's healthy, I think he's definitely the best back in the league and I think he's on track to show that this year."

Foster has certainly looked it during the Texans' voluntary organized team activities and minicamp practices after having back surgery in November to repair an injury that prematurely ended his 2013 season. Last season Foster suffered his first injury in OTAs, his second during training camp and his third during the season.

Foster's health is great right now, Brown said that as well. But whether that remains the case will be something for the Texans to watch. Having him healthy changes what the Texans can do offensively.

"I think he's very excited about this year," Brown said. "I've gotten a chance to talk to him a few times just you know his role in this offense and I think he's looking forward to it as I am too."
