By Tania Ganguli
Reading the coverage of the Houston Texans ...
Sports Illustrated's Don Banks takes a look at Texans coach Gary Kubiak's situation. He cites an incredible statistic about legendary coach Don Shula: in his 33 seasons Shula had only eight three-game losing streaks. Banks notes that Kubiak has already had nine.
Elsewhere on SI.com, Chris Burke and Doug Farrar both think T.J. Yates is the right choice to play quarterback for the Texans this weekend.
Kristie Rieken of the Associated Press examines how the Texans' mistakes are undoing them lately. She notes Houston has the most penalty yards of any team in the NFL.
Dale Robertson of the Houston Chronicle takes a look at the Texans' quarterback situation, examining Yates and Case Keenum.
Texans quarterback Matt Schaub is putting in a tremendous amount of effort toward his rehab this week. He wants to play against Kansas City, just as he wanted to play against the Rams -- pacing the sideline with his ankle wrapped, hoping he would be able to go back in. CSNHouston.com's Dave Zangaro takes a look at Schaub's process.
