Houston Texans: 2013 NFL Week 4 Power Rankings
Preseason: 7 | Last week: 4 | ESPN.com Power Rankings since 2002
A huge fall for the Texans this week after a 30-9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Texans (2-1) and Giants (0-3) took the biggest tumbles in this week's power poll, both falling nine spots. Power poll voters ranked the Texans anywhere from 10 to 15 and ultimately they landed as the 13th-ranked team. Teams one through five are all undefeated in this week's power poll, but two 1-2 teams rank ahead of the Texans, including the Green Bay Packers who rank 12th.
Furthermore, Houston is no longer the top-ranked team in the AFC South. The Indianapolis Colts are ranked ninth. I would have to disagree with our esteemed pollsters when it comes to that. These rankings might be a bit of an overreaction to this weekend when the Texans were blown out by the defending Super Bowl champions and the Colts blew out the defending NFC champions.
