Here's your morning edition of Reading the Coverage:

Kevin Bowen from Colts.com writes about how linebacker Pat Angerer, who was the team's leading tackler in 2011 but battled injuries last season, was back in the starting lineup against Cleveland over the weekend. "Another tackling machine out there, alongside (Jerrell Freeman)," safety Antoine Bethea said.

With roster cuts this week, Conrad Brunner of 1070TheFan writes about three players on the verge of making the Colts' roster -- Caesar Rayford, Kerwynn Williams and Delano Howell. The leading sack guy -- Rayford -- is an Arena League player, the leading rusher -- Williams -- is a 7th-round pick and the leading tackler -- Howell -- is an undrafted rookie free agent.

Tom James from the Terre Haute Tribune writes about how the Colts aren't worried that veteran running back Ahmad Bradshaw likely won't play in the preseason. Bradshaw spent most of the offseason and the first part of training camp working his way back from foot surgery earlier this year.
