INDIANAPOLIS -- Two days, two signings of draft picks by the Indianapolis Colts.
A day after signing outside linebacker Jonathan Newsome, the team's fifth-round choice, the Colts signed offensive tackle Ulrick John, the team’s final pick in the seventh round.
The Colts only have three more draft picks -- second-rounder Jack Mewhort, third-rounder Donte Moncrief and sixth-rounder Andrew Jackson -- to sign.
Newsome, who started his collegiate career at Ohio State, had 16.5 sacks and 24 tackles for loss in two seasons at Ball State.
John started 25 of the 36 games he appeared in at Georgia State.
