Here’s Wednesday’s Reading the Coverage:
Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star writes about how coach Chuck Pagano and receiver Reggie Wayne joked about having a sparring match about when Wayne will play in his first game since tearing his ACL in Week 7 last season. "My corner man is Mickey. Mickey from 'Rocky.' Absolutely, I told him that," Wayne said.
Stephen Holder, also of the Star, says Pagano is keeping his options open regarding who will start next to LaRon Landry at safety. "Disregard the depth chart. Disregard who's behind free safety, who's behind strong safety," Pagano said. "They're interchangeable. So, whoever we throw out there with LaRon, it doesn't really matter. We're going to try to do the best that we can not to show our hand (to opposing offenses)."
