Indianapolis may not be able to say the same thing after the 2014 season.
Wayne and Nicks will both be free agents in 2015. Wayne will be 36 by the end of next season, so obviously he's only got a few more years left in what should be a Hall of Fame career.
"While you still want to restock your roster, you still want to be able to have guys that are ready to go out there and play that have been there, done that in a sense, so you can keep winning games," Colts general manager Ryan Grigson said. "It's about winning football games. We're going to try to get the best players. If they have to sit for a year, that may be the case. Hopefully, we're going to get guys that are going to challenge early."
