RTC: Top storylines heading into camp
By Mike Wells
Here's Wednesday's -- also known as report day -- Colts' Reading the Coverage:
Mike Chappell of the Indy Star gives his take on the top-five storylines heading into camp for the Colts, led by second-year player Khaled Holmes taking over the starting center position. Holmes only played 12 snaps as a rookie.
Steve Andress of Colts.com takes you inside of the office of Colts owner Jim Irsay. "The love of music and the arts is something that's really special to me," Irsay said. "Being a guitar player myself, a songwriter, and a poetry writer, I really love collecting."
Kevin Bowen, also of Colts.com, talks to linebacker Daniel Adongo about what it's been like over the past year for him. The Colts signed Adongo in the summer of 2013 without him ever playing football before. Adongo was a skilled rugby player overseas. "Come to think about it ... I didn't know how to put on pads, I didn't know the play calling schemes," Adongo recalled. "I came in not on a whim but with a dream and a goal and steps in place to achieve that. Looking back at it, it's almost humorous to think about it but it's given me confidence to grow further as a player, because where I started from, to where I am now is a huge indication of hard work and confidence and preparation and how far it can get you to achieving your goals."
