Rookie safety Josh Evans was annoyed when the Jaguars drafted him in the sixth round last spring. He was hoping he would have been drafted sooner, but he's pretty happy with the way things turned out.

After being thrust into the lineup in Week 3 because of a concussion to Dwight Lowery, he has rarely come off the field. He has made mistakes and gotten caught out of position, but he's gaining valuable experience, writes the Florida Times-Union's Vito Stellino.
