LB coach, trainer leaving Jaguars

MOBILE, Ala. -- The Jaguars now have an opening on their coaching staff.

Linebackers coach Mark Duffner, who has been with the team for eight seasons, has left to take the same position with the Miami Dolphins. He spent eight seasons in Jacksonville, joining the team in 2006 after three seasons as the linebackers coach with the Green Bay Packers.

In addition, head athletic trainer Mike Ryan -- who has been with the Jaguars since the franchise’s inception -- is leaving to pursue other interests. Ryan spent 26 seasons in the NFL and in 2003 he and his staff won the Ed Block Courage Award’s NFL Athletic Training Staff of the Year.
