RTC: New coach eager for Paul Posluszny

2/17/2014

Recently hired Jaguars linebackers coach Robert Saleh said he's looking forward to working with middle linebacker Paul Posluszny.

The Florida Times-Union's Ryan O'Halloran writes that Saleh is impressed with what he's seen of Posluszny on tape.

"I've heard his personality is awesome, and watching him on tape I don't understand how he doesn't get tired because he just goes up and down the football field," Saleh said. "His leadership and the standard he's created for himself can only help the room and elevate everybody else around him."

O'Halloran also provides a primer for the NFL combine, which begins Wednesday.

ESPN.com's Tania Ganguli spent time in Michael Sam's hometown and wrote this piece on how two brothers being jailed -- and one missing -- helped shape his path. It's a great read.

In an interview with Nashville (Tenn.) Tennessean beat writer Jim Wyatt, new Tennessee Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt says he's excited about finding out what quarterback Jake Locker can do in his offense.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell made $44.2 million in 2012.
