RTC: Potential trade not boring

The debate on which player the Jaguars should take with the No. 3 pick has already gotten boring and there's still more than two months until the draft.

The Florida Times-Union's Hays Carlyon offered up what he called a "ridiculously hypothetical draft scenario" on Tuesday that is anything but boring. And it should spark some pretty lively debate, too.

His scenario: Teddy Bridgewater and Blake Bortles are taken with the first two picks. The Jaguars don't want to take Johnny Manziel and the Seattle Seahawks, enamored with Jadeveon Clowney, call Jaguars GM David Caldwell and offer all six of their picks for he No. 3 pick.

Would you do it?

That proposed trade would give the Jaguars 16 picks, including seven in the fourth and fifth rounds combined. It's an interesting scenario because the Jaguars could use those picks to move up in the first round again or package some for an additional first-round pick in the 2015 draft. There are a lot of possibilities.

Here are some additional pieces of Jaguars-related content from around the Web in our Reading the Coverage feature:

Caldwell told Pro Football Talk that he doesn't want to do "Hard Knocks."

Carlyon also breaks down the winners, losers and physical freaks from the NFL combine.
