Maurice Jones-Drew knows he has a lot more football left in him.

The Florida Times-Union's Vito Stellino writes that Jones-Drew, during an interview on SiriusXM satellite radio, said the Oakland Raiders are giving him a chance to prove that.

"A lot of these teams had already kind of conceded that I didn't have anything left and all these different questions they may have had -- Oakland's going to give me a chance," Jones-Drew said. "And they gave me a deal that shows that with incentives."

Jones-Drew will compete with the oft-injured Darren McFadden to be the Raiders' No. 1 back.

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. took a different approach on his latest mock draft. He listed the players he would pick if he were each team's GM, no matter which players he thought the teams would take. His picks for the Jaguars filled their top two needs .

The offseason workout dates have been announced for all 32 teams.

NFL.com's Bucky Brooks did a do-over for the 2008 NFL draft. Instead of taking defensive end Derrick Harvey, Brooks has the Jaguars taking offensive tackle Ryan Clady.
