Have questions about the Jacksonville Jaguars? I’ll try to answer a representative selection of them every Saturday. Submit your questions via Twitter to @ESPNdirocco and use the hashtag #jagsquestion.

@ESPNdirocco: I don’t know if you could consider any of the drafted guys, although defensive end Chris Smith is someone who bears watching. The staff likes the fifth-round pick’s speed and motor and he’ll be in the mix to get reps at the LEO spot. Receiver Allen Hurns, and undrafted rookie from Miami, has a solid shot to make the team, especially with Ace Sanders’ absence. He’s a big kid (6-foot-3) and that sets him apart from the other receivers except for second-round pick Allen Robinson (6-3).
@ESPNdirocco Any position battles that no one has talked about for the Jags that we should keep an eye on during Training Camp & pre-season?

@ESPNdirocco: The big ones are right guard, center, receiver, safety, and linebacker. I don’t really see any under-the-radar competitions. But the fight for the final two spots at receiver is going to be pretty competitive. Keep an eye on Allen Hurns, Tandon Doss and Kerry Taylor.

@ESPNdirocco: Not at all. Not with Gus Bradley around. It’s impossible to be down when you’re with him. Plus, once everybody sees the video boards Saturday night all the bad feelings from the Ace Sanders and Justin Blackmon situations will be forgotten.

@ESPNdirocco: He’s a running back now and is competing with Jordan Todman and Storm Johnson to be Toby Gerhart’s top backup. I’d expect him to sometimes line up as a receiver in certain packages.
@ESPNdirocco with now only 1 proven vet WR do you expect the Jags to try and pick up another vet that could be cut before the season?

@ESPNdirocco: Unless there’s a rash of injuries -- which can happen, as we saw in the spring -- I don’t expect the Jaguars to chase any veterans. The focus is on developing Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee into reliable players and the Jaguars like the rest of the players at the position, especially Mike Brown and Kerry Taylor.

@ESPNdirocco: Jason Babin was the one I would have answered in the spring, but he’s gone. I really don’t see any “name” veteran players on the bubble. I think defensive end Tyson Alualu is a lock to make the team. If some of the younger linebackers make some plays and show some promise, then maybe Geno Hayes, but I think that’s unlikely.
