Analysis: After being eased back into the lineup in the previous two games, Gratz started and played all but one snap against the Titans. Head coach Gus Bradley said late last week that there would be a rotation between Ball, Gratz and Blackmon and Blackmon ended up being on the field for his second-fewest snaps of the season. Gratz intercepted the first pass of his career. Ball had a chance for an interception as well but dropped the pass. … Blackmon’s limited playing time didn’t keep him from making the defense’s biggest play of the season with his sack/strip/fumble recovery for a TD against Titans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. … Hayes played his best game of the season (11 tackles, one forced fumble, one pass breakup). That allowed the defense to weather the fourth-quarter head injury to Posluszny, who missed his first snaps of the season. … The rotation of Evans and Guy at free safety worked well. Evans played more controlled -- and didn’t appear to miss any tackles -- and the two combined for seven stops. Guy had played just four snaps prior to this game. … Lotulelei played on defense for just the second time this season (he was on the field for one snap versus San Francisco).
