KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs fortified themselves on the offensive line by promoting guard Rokevious Watkins from the practice squad. The move leaves the Chiefs with 10 offensive linemen on their active roster: starters Branden Albert, Eric Fisher, Jeff Allen, Jon Asamoah and Rodney Hudson and backups Donald Stephenson, Geoff Schwartz, Eric Kush, Rishaw Johnson and Watkins.

Watkins fills the roster spot left vacant on Tuesday when the Chiefs released tight end Kevin Brock.

Rookie defensive back Sanders Commings, who has been on the injured-reserve list all season, could be activated in time for Sunday’s game against the Bills in Buffalo.

The Chiefs also added 270-pound tight end Dominique Jones to their practice squad. He started two games for the Colts this season and recorded two catches.
