KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs made a pair of roster moves along their defensive line, signing Kyle Love and releasing Anthony Toribio.

The timing is interesting. Two of their defensive linemen, ends Mike DeVito (knee) and Tyson Jackson (abdomen) are injured, so the Chiefs evidently feel they will need some help along at those positions for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers and beyond.

Love started 25 games over the past two seasons for the New England Patriots.
