The term of most feared player can be interpreted in different ways. To me, it means a dirty player, one whom opposing players don't want to turn their backs on.
Using that interpretation, I approached several Kansas City Chiefs players during the season, asking them which opposing player they fear the most. The answer of Detroit's Ndamukong Suh wasn't unanimous, but it was close. And those players who did answer Suh took no time to blurt out his name and were emphatic about their selection.
Maybe Suh suffers because of his reputation in this regard. But he obviously stirs some passion. No question about that. The fact he stirs that level of emotion from opposing players from another conference -- the Chiefs have played against Suh just once, in 2011 -- says a lot.
