Kansas City Chiefs: 2013 NFL Week 17 Power Rankings
Preseason: 22 | Last Week: 6 | ESPN.com Power Ranking since 2002
After losing their third straight home game, this one in convincing fashion to the Indianapolis Colts, the Kansas City Chiefs are fortunate they're still in the top 10 of ESPN.com's Power Rankings.
The Chiefs fell from sixth to 10th after their 23-7 loss to the Colts. The Chiefs are immediately ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles and San Diego Chargers. The Chiefs beat the Eagles in September, but it's debatable whether they would beat them now. The Chiefs have lost four of their last six games, with both wins coming over the worst teams in the league. The Eagles, who since losing to the Chiefs have switched to Nick Foles at quarterback, have won six of their last seven games.
The Chiefs lost to the Chargers last month at Arrowhead Stadium. The rematch is Sunday in San Diego, and if the Chargers win, it would be impossible to argue they shouldn't be ranked ahead of the Chiefs.
