UCLA selected as NCAA regional host

UCLA has been selected as an NCAA baseball tournament regional host for the third consecutive year, the NCAA selection committee announced Sunday.

Play in the four-team double-elimination regional will begin Friday at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Tickets will go on sale Monday at www.tickets.ucla.edu and beginning Tuesday at the Central Ticket Office. From Monday through Thursday, only all-session packages are available. Single-game tickets go on sale beginning Friday.

The 15 other teams selected as regional hosts are: Arizona, Baylor, Florida, Florida State, Louisiana State, Miami, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Oregon, Purdue, Rice, South Carolina, Stanford, Texas A&M and Virginia.

The rest of the 64-team field, as well as the top eight national seeds and first-round regional pairings and site assignments, will be announced at 9 a.m Pacific Monday, May 28 on ESPNU.
