Add forward Terrence Jones to the list of prospects UCLA basketball coach Ben Howland has whiffed on this offseason.

Like elite guards Trey Ziegler and Ray McCallum before him, Jones elected to commit elsewhere on Friday afternoon, choosing to stay in the Northwest to play for Lorenzo Romar and the Washington Huskies.

Jones (Portland, Ore./Jefferson) is rated the No. 9 overall player in the ESPNU 100. He chose between Washington, UCLA, Kansas, Kentucky and Oklahoma.

UCLA returns only six scholarship players and has added four so far, which leaves three available spots.

In a teleconference with reporters earlier this week, Howland said he would not be looking to add more, instead focusing on next year's class.
